🖤 Monochrome Bloom: Function Meets Form in a Sleek Little Planter

🖤 Monochrome Bloom: Function Meets Form in a Sleek Little Planter

Some projects are born from practicality. Others from aesthetics. But every now and then, I get to make something that nails both. This is one of those.

Meet the Monochrome Bloom — a compact, two-tone planter that I designed to look clean on your windowsill and keep your plants healthy.

It’s a piece that I’ve wanted to make for a while: something that felt modern and minimal, but still did its job better than your average pot. And after a little sketching, slicing, and one test print, this version felt right.

🪴 What Makes It Special?

  • Two-Tone Elegance: A smooth transition from matte black to bright white, curved to feel soft and modern
  • Engineered Drainage: A slatted base allows water to flow into the included tray, which also has raised internal ridges to help it evaporate no root rot here
  • Just the Right Size: Big enough for your favorite succulent or desk plant, but compact enough to fit almost anywhere
  • Made in My Workshop: Like all my pieces, this one is printed in layers using eco-friendly PLA, designed and tested by me

🎨 Color Combos?

The black/white version is just the start. I’m limiting myself to 100 color pairs for Artisans Co-op, but I can make this in just about any combo. Want yellow and teal? Rose gold and gray? Copper and green? Let me know, I’d love to make one in your favorite palette.
