Whispers of the Orchid

A Dance of Patience and Bloom

Whispers of the Orchid

Orchids, oh elusive bloom, In mystic hues, a spectral plume. With roots in air, not earth confined, A paradox in petals twined.

In homes, they stand, a silent plea, Demanding more than eyes can see. Their whispers in the light they seek, In whispered tones, both soft and meek.

With leaves of green, a glossy sheen, A visage calm, serene, unseen. The struggle lies beneath, concealed, In roots and hearts, not easily healed.

For orchids ask in silent throes, A careful hand, a watch that knows. The balance of the sun and shade, A tempered dance of light arrayed.

Yet, petals fall, as all things must, Leaving stems in barren trust. A year to wait, a cycle's span, In patience's grip, a master plan.

For in that time, a transformation, A quiet, steadfast germination. Beneath the surface, life endures, In hope, in strength, that time secures.

So orchids teach in silent grace, A lesson in life's fragile pace. In every petal lost, a seed, Of patience, care, and silent creed.

To bloom again, in time's embrace, A cycle of rebirth, a trace. Of beauty held in temporal tide, An orchid's heart, where secrets hide.
